During these difficult times, we should constantly recite this dua for protection from diseases. The verse reminds us that we can always find refuge in Allah (SWT).
It is a powerful dua for safety and protection against calamities that Allah (SWT) may guide and keep us from any type of crisis.
It is important that we see a physician when sick. As well as praying to Allah (SWT), we can offer our prayers for our recovery. There is a narration from Aisha saying that when any of the people suffered an illness, the Prophet (saw) would rub the area of pain.
You are completely normal to feel anxiety or worry in these circumstances. You can recite the dua for sickness and pain that we are going to share with you below:
Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn (His grandsons) were narrated to be protected by the Prophet (ﷺ). I especially like this dua for incurable disease, who are our most precious family members.

Best Dua For Protection from Diseases
As Muslims, we must remember all that happens is the result of Allah s.w.t.’s will and divine wisdom. The Prophet Muhammad Saud s.a.w. prayed to Allah s.w.t. by using the language of love and service when he faced trials and adversity.
Let us understand it with the help of Hadith that is given below:
“Any one of you who suffers illness, or his brother who suffers illness, should pray to Allah: May Allah, our Lord, have mercy on us, as You have mercy in heaven, so also do You grant us mercy on earth. We beg your forgiveness. Good is what you are. Please send down healing and mercy to this hurt.”
Whenever they see someone infected with a disease, people should recite the following powerful dua for protection.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ، وَالْجُنُونِ، وَالْجُذَامِ، وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الأَسْقَامِ
In English:
Allahh hummaa inni a’udhuu bikaa minall-barasii, wall-jununni, wall-judhaamii, waa minn sayyii’ill-asqaamii
According to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), those who see an afflicted person and he or she makes the above-mentioned dua for life threatening illness will never contract the said disease themselves.
It is recommended that this Dua for protection from everything is recited in secret, to spare the person who is doing it pain.
